Generative AI Engineer - Automation Intelligence

Purpose

We are seeking a Generative AI Application Engineer with expertise in developing intelligent automation solutions using Generative AI capabilities on the Microsoft Azure stack. This role is ideal for a technologist passionate about building scalable, AI-powered applications that streamline business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive operational efficiency.

As part of our Intelligent Automation team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement transformative solutions leveraging tools like Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, automation architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative applications that make a tangible difference.

The Job (responsibilities):

Develop & Deploy Generative AI Solutions

• Architect, build, and maintain AI-driven applications using Azure’s suite of services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure ML).
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI, recommending new tools and techniques to optimize solutions.

Low Code / No Code Integration

• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI in Intelligent Automation & BPM frameworks built on platforms like Appian or similar low-code platforms for enhanced workflow and process orchestration.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate process requirements into low-code solutions that are efficient and user-friendly.

Solution Architecture & Collaboration

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Performance Optimization & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot complex issues, providing quick resolutions to maintain high availability and reliability.

Thought Leadership & Evangelism

• Educate internal teams and stakeholders on Generative AI capabilities and Appian-based workflow solutions.

The Person (requirements):

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building applications with Generative AI capabilities on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Experience with low-code development on BPM & Intelligent Automation platforms like Appian (or similar tools) strongly desired.
• Strong coding skills in Python, C#, or a relevant language.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of NLP, ML fundamentals, and advanced generative modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with BPM, process orchestration, and workflow automation concepts.
• Ability to design, configure, and deploy solutions on Appian or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think creatively in complex environments.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional team environments.
