Head of Internal Audit – Crypto / Digital Assets | Europe (Hybrid)

Salary: Competitive + Benefits | Location: Hybrid, 2–3 days in office

A rapidly growing, regulated digital asset platform is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead and strengthen its audit function, with a core focus on IT, cybersecurity, and crypto compliance (MiCAR, DORA, BAIT, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead internal audits across IT, information security, and crypto-related operations.
• Own the audit strategy and annual plan, working closely with senior leadership.
• Act as liaison for external auditors and regulators.
• Advise on risk and controls across the business, especially in IT governance and compliance.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years' experience auditing financial institutions, ideally in crypto or fintech.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (MiCAR, DORA, BAIT, MaRisk, KWG).
• Background in Computer Science, IT, or similar.
• Audit certifications (e.g. CISA, CIA, CRISC) preferred.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.
