Our client, a globally respected Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is seeking an ambitious Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background to join their experienced team. About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering engineering projects from concept to completion. Working closely with a highly skilled internal engineering team, you'll also liaise with key external stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure project outcomes meet technical, financial, and time-based goals.

This is the ideal position for a mechanically capable engineer who enjoys working with people and is passionate about developing their project management capabilities in a supportive and technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver engineering solutions

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources across the full project lifecycle

  • Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Monitor risks, quality, and compliance throughout the project phases

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the project team

About You

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

  • Proven experience or strong interest in transitioning into a project management role

  • Exposure to or experience in mobile equipment or similar heavy machinery

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Technically competent with an understanding of engineering principles and processes

  • Motivated, proactive, and looking to grow your career in project delivery
