Product Owner

Our mission at xFarm Technologies is to drive the digital transformation in agriculture by improving the lives of millions of farmers, acting for the increase of environmental, economic, and social sustainability of the sector. We do this by developing digital tools and consulting projects, providing a Smart Farming digital ecosystem for all the actors of the agri-food supply chain, consisting of apps, sensors, software integrations, and advanced analytics tools.

Today, xFarm products are already used by more than 450 thousand farms in Europe and South America on more than 6 million hectares.Now it’s time to accelerate and we need you! We are looking for a superhero, a brilliant and passionate talent as a digital Product Owner, with the aim of supporting our product’s fast growth in all countries we operate.

Your Mission:

• Take on the role of Product Owner within one of our vertical Tribes, while reporting directly to a Product Manager. This role is suited for candidates with junior to mid-level seniority
• Be the product owner in one of the tribes focusing on sustainability, regenerative agriculture, core platform functionalities, internationalization, or precision livestock management
• Being involved in the creation of new features and services and managing their growth and quality, in an Agile framework
• Define and translate business objectives into development requirements, ensuring requirements are fully understood by the Tech team, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in the conception and design of new functions
• Write awesome requirements
• Break down all the inputs to fit a strategy and product roadmap, combining wild ambition with rationality and pragmatism, aligning all stakeholders in executing the vision

The ideal candidate possesses:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in digital product
• A solid knowledge of the agricultural sector, its dynamics, and key challenges is required. This can come from direct work experience, education, or a strong personal/professional background in the field
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, to effectively manage development sprints. Familiarity with product management and development tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, Confluence).
• Willing to join an Ag-Tech environment and learn about agriculture
• Tech and digital knowledge, know how in delivering product features in alignment with the product strategy
• Ability to exhibit and manage meetings with interested parties, with confident presentation and storytelling skills
• Predisposition to problem-solving, independence, and ability to self-organize the working day
• Good knowledge of the English language (B2-C1)

Represents a plus the knowledge of:

• AgTech industry
• Wireframe tools (Figma, Balsamiq, etc)
• Atlassian ecosystem and work organization tools (Notion)
• Other languages, especially Spanish, German or French
• SCRUM, Agile
