For our client, an innovative technology consulting start-up, we are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot. Join a cutting-edge team and work on state-of-the-art systems in the private and public cloud environments, helping to shape the future of technology.

Tasks

  • Service Layer Design: Architect and optimize core services within the service layer.
  • Microservices Development: Build and maintain microservices using Java 17/21, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
  • Security Implementation: Apply Spring Security and OAuth2 Flows to ensure high security standards.
  • Database Management: Work with relational databases, JPA/Hibernate, and jOOQ.
  • Kafka Expertise: Ensure service integrity using Kafka and Kafka Streams.
  • Containerization: Utilize Openshift and Kubernetes, including Helm for orchestration.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Drive the GitOps approach with ArgoCD and implement CI/CD with Gitlab CI/CD and Tekton.
  • System Observability: Use Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and other tools for system monitoring and optimization.


Requirements

  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in back-end development, ideally in an agile environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java 17/21, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
  • Microservices & Security: Strong knowledge of microservices architectures and security concepts like OAuth2.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Kubernetes, Openshift, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Observability Tools: Expertise in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
