The Senior Product Manager for L'Oréal Professionnel is responsible for managing the operational aspects of marketing promotions and new product launches, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration. A key component of this role is accurately sizing new product launches based on current and future trends and ensuring alignment with supply chain capabilities. This role requires an analytical and organized individual with a keen understanding of marketing performance metrics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. This role balances marketing acumen with operational execution to ensure product availability aligns with promotional activities and launch plans.

About The Role

  • Develop robust forecasting methods to accurately size new product launches, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (commercial, finance, supply chain) to ensure alignment on marketing objectives, product availability, and launch strategies.
  • Develop and manage marketing promotion budgets and product launch forecasts, collaborating with Supply Chain on feasibility and timing.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing performance and launch success, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage the marketing calendar, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely execution of all activities.
  • Own the brand guidelines to maintain brand identity, ensuring that all actions align with the sense of purpose while nurturing the brand.
  • Manage the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights, sharing findings with Senior Management to ensure consistency in new product development.
  • Work closely with the education team to ensure a proper understanding, recommendation, and usage of the products to drive sales.
  • Gain a clear understanding of the market and customers by conducting analyses and reports that enable swift reactions to change trends, using insights to influence the organization and drive growth.
  • Grasp the context and trends of the hair market, understanding where, when, and with whom to engage.

About You

  • You will be highly motivated with a can-do attitude and possess the ability to negotiate commercially.
  • Previous experience in a similar brand/product management role within the Hair/Beauty or FMCG/Retail industry, with an understanding of a luxury retail brand, will be highly valuable.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You must have demonstrated success in managing A+P budgets with ROI delivery and achieving sales outcomes from initiated campaigns.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • You will be an excellent communicator, capable of engaging and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
