Role Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be a member of the development team currently consisting of 7 developers. The development team works on improving and extending our platform by completing the tasks continuously prioritized by our agile development process. The development of the platform is crucial to the success of the company the coming years.

You report to Head of Development and your location is Gothenburg or Malmo.

Responsibility

Your responsibility includes completing tasks, performing code reviews, testing and participating in architecture discussions, according to our development process. As a part of improving in throughput and quality you´ll complete your tasks with high quality.

Qualifications

We´re looking for a driven and “Eager-to-learn” Senior Java developer who brings positive energy to the team and participate in the development of the platform. You are passionate about coding and technology and to succeed in this role we belive that you have:

• A relevant higher education
• Several years of professional experience within the Java ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Jakarta EE, Quarkus, and React
• Familiarity with Docker and SQL Server
• Experience working with Kanban, Jira, Jenkins, and SonarQube
• The ability to thrive in both well-defined projects and more exploratory, open-ended assignments
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential
