Job Description:

  • SAFe SPC certified
  • A minimum of three years recent experience leading projects through Agile / SAFe / Iterative / Hybrid methodologies, operating as lead working with Epic Owner and key stakeholders, when necessary, to decompose the high-level Epic into actionable efforts that will be determined for Methodology recommendation for execution. (Ex: Agile, Hybrid, Kanban, Six Sigma etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience successfully providing methodology selection recommendations to a large portfolio or program with multiple business stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient using Confluence, JIRA, Clarity, SharePoint, and other software for project and task management.
  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining key performance measures related to program, project, and / or portfolio management, including benefits realization.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated track record in effective vertical coaching, project management, including strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability for both tactical execution and strategic thinking.
  • Process Improvement methodology experience preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, SAFe, etc.).
  • Domain experience in insurance and / or financial industries preferred.

You Will:

  • Provide hands-on Methodology (Agile, Kanban, Hybrid) coaching to Agile Release Train Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and teams on all aspects of Scrum, Lean, and Kanban & Hybrid methodologies practices.
  • Coach organizational leaders and key stakeholders in Lean-Agile, Kanban, Hybrid practices and approaches.
  • Facilitate complex problem-solving sessions with stakeholders and teams to improve flow and value delivery.
  • Display a solid understanding of agile values and principles and different frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.) that help achieve agility. Understand when to apply specific practices to solve specific problems identified in the team or at scale.
  • Evaluate and mentor existing Agile & Kanban teams; identify and launch new, multi-functional teams at a sustainable pace as raised by team and/or organizational need.
  • Proactively collaborate and communicate with internal/external partners to address Agile knowledge gaps to support all the methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Hybrid & Six Sigma) effectiveness.
  • Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement. Challenges the teams and greater organization to reflect and improve through coaching, mentoring and direct action.
  • Implement standard measurements that matter for organizational, leader and team Agile success.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Agile strategy and transformation journey for the enterprise.
