Are you passionate about Business Intelligence and driven by the opportunity to create value for the business? We are looking for a Senior BI Developer to join the centralized data team and provide key business and customer insights to support our rapidly expanding operations in France, which leads our southern markets.

The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of power BI and strong data engineering skills including experience with Azure data warehousing tools such as Azure data factory and Azure synapse. The candidate should also be willing to understand the home security and IoT landscape, and to work closely with the France executive team to drive the data roadmap for southern markets. In this context, a good knowledge of French is a big plus although not mandatory.

This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Head of Data Engineering.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Driving the execution of the data roadmap of France and southern markets including delivering Key reports on sales, operations or other business areas in Power BI.
  • Working closely with the executive team in France to ensure the right roadmap prioritization and that the reports are actively used to drive better business decisions.
  • Building the underlying datasets for the reports including working closely with the central data team and other engineering teams to identify the right data sources, deciding on data transformations and final datasets schema.
  • Being responsible of the maintenance, quality and continuous improvement of all PowerBI reports for which France is a key business stakeholder
  • Enabling and facilitating data self-serve for business stakeholders from France and other southern markets.
  • Being an engaged member of the central data team including adapting to and adopting new tools and technologies used for data engineering and reporting (including Fabric, databricks, power BI copilot etc), as well as participating in team stand ups, planning sessions and in person gatherings.

What are we looking for?

The Ideal Candidate Must Have

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in development of Power BI dashboards.
  • Good knowledge of Azure landscape (ADF, Synapse, Fabric).
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong data visualization skills.
  • Experience in manipulating structured and unstructured data from multiple data systems (on-premises, cloud-based data sources, APIs, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, including talking to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A valid work permit in the EU.
  • Should be open to travel based on business needs.

Additionally, the following is nice to have (but not essential):

  • Knowledge of French.
  • Knowledge of timeXtender.
