Protofire is a team of engineers, which helps decentralized protocols and developer platforms to accelerate growth of their ecosystems. By delivering hands-on coding and contributions, Protofire specializes in supercharging developer adoption and network usage. Our team works on applications, elaborate smart contracts, robust developer tools (SDKs/APIs/sample apps), or simply improve performance/cost of oracles.

As a Blockchain DevOps engineer, you will be engaging with top blockchain ecosystems such as The Graph, Avalanche, Filecoin, Gnosis, etc., working on a huge variety of crypto-related projects. In the majority of the cases it would require direct interaction with the community, so the good fit candidate should understand the nuances of public communications. The position implies a mix of support and development activities.

Requirements - What are we looking for?

  • AWS Expertise – EC2, EKS, S3, Cloudwatch, Cloudfront, Lambda. Understanding of high availability, scalability, resilience, app performance, and security in the cloud
  • Experience with Golang on an Intermediate level
  • Experience in Blockchain - active protocols user
  • CI/CD experience (GitHub actions preferably)
  • Experience in Docker + docker-compose
  • Experience in Linux maintenance and optimizations
  • Monitoring and logging experience (Loki, Prometheus, Grafana, Prometheus Gateway)
  • Experience in Bash
  • Experience in Ansible
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills with B2+English
  • Experience in JS or Python

Nice to have (otherwise can be learned while working with us):

  • Understanding of cryptoenomics (what is staking, how token emission works, and so on)
  • Basic understanding of Solidity
  • Experience in The Graph ecosystem
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebook or similar analytical tool
  • Experience in Ansible+Terraform stack
