Program Manager

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in managing large application development programs within agile environments and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role requires the ability to work on highly technical programs and will require regular interactions with C-suite executives, engineering leaders, product managers, project managers, and client-facing teams. A successful PM will be highly focused on relationship development with internal stakeholders and be willing to adapt their approach to managing programs based on the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale application development programs involving 10-50+ teams from planning through execution.
• Ensure clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Scrum of Scrums and ad hoc meetings.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and issues.
• Oversee program timelines and resource allocation.
• Report program status to stakeholders and executive leadership using Jira Dashboards and Smartsheet.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in program management.
• 3+ years of experience leading application development programs leveraging cloud-based microservice architecture.
• Ability to navigate Jira with ease, write JQLs, and develop insightful custom dashboards for executives and program stakeholders.

Preferred

• Jira administration experience
• SAFe certification or combination of PMP plus Agile Certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry is a plus.
