YOUR ROLE    

This is a unique and rare opportunity to shape the future of digital technologies at IAG’s Retail Digital Technology team. As a Front-End Developer, you will join our digital frameworks team, where you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our internal design system. You’ll work in a cross-functional agile team that includes designers, engineers, product owners, and domain architects, collaborating to deliver innovative solutions and enhance our digital capabilities. This is permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to our IAG offices in Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).

About You      

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria

  

• Commercial experience as a front-end developer in a complex organisation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (including ES6+ features) and TypeScript for type-safe development.
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles.
• Experience with React, including hooks and state management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment using Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control workflows, CI/CD Actions.
• Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and their implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
