We're looking for an Android Developer to help take Fiix's explosive growth to a whole new level. We think most software is too complex, too many features with too many promises. You will report to the manager
Major Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
- Collaborate with cross functional Agile teams to design, develop and ship new features in the Android App.
- Write clean, well-tested code to build new features, fix bugs and improve the performance of the application.
- Participate in design discussions, peer code reviews and team meetings across IOS and Android.
- Deliver a high-quality product by building, executing and maintaining automated and manual tests.
- Be a team player in a highly collaborative environment
- 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years of said experience in developing native Android apps
- Good experience in designing, developing, testing, and delivering quality mobile applications.
- Familiar with concepts such as MVVM Architecture, Jetpack Compose, LiveData, Coroutines and Kotlin Flow
- Experience in TDD and have experience writing tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Use Espresso to write Android UI tests.
- You take pride in discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies that maximise development efficiency, including tech outside of Native Android development.
- You have a portfolio of apps that you've developed and released on Google Play.
- You are as comfortable writing applications from scratch as you are working with outside APIs and data providers.
- Someone who has desire to work on a small collaborative team in an Agile environment.
- Bachelors., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent is ideal.
- The ability to collaborate with, learn from colleagues in a complex, global organisation.
