About the Role

We’re expanding our AI capabilities and are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing team in Estonia. In this role, you’ll work on designing and deploying advanced AI solutions—including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent-based models, and multi-agent systems. You'll also be involved in scaling these models in production through robust MLOps practices, ensuring performance, compliance, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cutting-edge LLM-based applications.
  • Fine-tune models and engineer effective prompts for domain-specific needs.
  • Work with embeddings, vector databases, and integrate external APIs.
  • Conduct model evaluation, benchmarking, and ensure ethical AI practices.
  • Build and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines to support training, deployment, and serving.
  • Use containerization and orchestration tools to manage model environments.
  • Monitor model performance, implement observability tools, and optimize compute resources.
  • Manage model versioning, data lineage, and testing frameworks for continuous delivery.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3–4 years of experience in data science, applied ML, or AI-focused roles.
  • Strong command of Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, and agent systems.
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering and working with vector stores.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and NLP/ML frameworks (Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Understanding of AI ethics, privacy, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD for ML, using tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and model observability techniques.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for AI pipelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in the telecom industry or familiarity with telco infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI tools (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Amazon Kendra, GCP Vertex AI).
  • Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
  • Exposure to model compression, distributed training, or AI/ML security.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs, semantic search, or reinforcement learning.
  • Familiarity with AI compliance, A/B testing frameworks, and responsible AI initiatives.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our teams. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, age, or other characteristics protected by law.

Please Note: This is a full-time onsite role based in Estonia.
