Sr.Machine Learning Engineer

In-store digital screens, store entrance sensors&checkout areas, online retail areas, personalized advertising areas, and new digital platforms such as Migros TV can be counted among these channels. We are now seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team and work at this fast-growing, future-facing business.

Join our DS & AI team to leverage Mimeda's unique retail data. You will develop, automate, and productize machine learning models (e.g., propensity, forecasting) primarily on Azure. Your work will turn insights into scalable products, directly enhancing our targeted advertising and data-driven decisions.

What You Will Do?

• Develop and implement ML models (propensity, clustering, recommendation, etc.) for retail media applications,
• Design, build, and operate end-to-end MLOps pipelines mainly on Azure (using Azure ML, Azure DevOps, etc.) to automate model training, deployment, and monitoring,
• Productize ML models into robust, scalable services and APIs,
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously optimize deployed models and ML pipelines,
• Stay current with and apply best practices in ML, MLOps, and Azure cloud technologies,

What We’re Looking For:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ML Engineer or similar role, preferably in Retail, E-commerce, or AdTech industries,
• Strong ML knowledge and experience with Python, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.,
• Proficiency with SQL and databases,
• Experience with MLOps (CI/CD, automation, monitoring),
• Hands-on experience with Azure ML; ADF and Databricks is a plus,
• Interest or experience in LLMs and Generative AI is a plus,
