Information Security Analyst

At Talenter we are looking for a Information Security Analyst that will be responsible for safeguarding an organization's computer systems and networks. It will play a pivotal role in protecting sensitive information from cyber threats by implementing security measures and responding to security breaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment: Conducting regular assessments of the organization's IT infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Security Measures: Developing and implementing security protocols and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitoring networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
  • Incident Response: Responding to security incidents and coordinating with IT teams to mitigate and resolve threats in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
  • Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on security status and incidents for management.
  • Innovation: Staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.

Requirements

  • Education: Is desirable a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management practices.
    • Proficiency in security tools and software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience

  • Proven experience 3 to 4 years as an Information Security Analyst or a similar role, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience applying and performing assessments using NIST 800-53 or the HiTrust security framework is desirable.
