Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our GCS Aftermarket Services, Analytics and Fleet Operations department at Kongsberg Maritime. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing data-driven solutions to enhance energy efficiency and performance optimization for maritime operations.

In the Eco Insight team, we provide valuable insights from historical operational data to help our customers improve vessel energy efficiency and meet their sustainability targets. Our team offers analytics services for external deliveries, providing insights and advice on more energy-efficient operations. We also deliver insights to internal stakeholders on operational energy efficiency, supporting pre-upgrade, post-upgrade verification analysis, as well as application and product development.

Active communication and interaction with our customers are integral parts of the Eco Insight team's activities. We believe that maintaining strong relationships with our clients is essential for understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Our team regularly engages with customers to gather feedback, discuss project progress, and ensure that our services align with their expectations

Key Responsibilities

• Energy Efficiency Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses to estimate potential fuel and energy savings for different vessels, providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards to support various projects, including collaborations with external partners.
• Data Handling and Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and interpret data to create comprehensive reports, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the information provided to clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals, offering necessary support and clarifications to ensure successful outcomes.

• Proven experience in data analysis and dashboard development.
• Experience in the maritime industry or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and software.
