The role

Digital Zone is searching for an experienced Backend developer or Information technology professional. Join our team as a System Analyst and help us in extending and enhancing our business technology stack. In this role, you will integrate our customer-facing applications with various business systems, streamline organizational workflows, and drive technological innovations that support our rapid growth.

Location

Candidates may be based in either Baghdad, Iraq (our headquarters), or Dubai, UAE (our office). and enjoy a hybrid work model that combines remote and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Workflow and process automation: Identify issues with the current internal business processes and work on developing and enhancing the current processes with necessary technology/software/tools, (i.e. workflow automation tools).
• Systems Integration : develop seamless integration of our customer-facing applications with crucial technological systems—including financial platforms, search solutions, and other strategic tools—ensuring interoperability and an enhanced customer experience.
• Business Tech Stack Enhancement: Lead initiatives to elevate our business technology stack by collaborating with key stakeholders, managing their needs and pain points, and overseeing the successful implementation of innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.
• Vendor Collaboration & Feature Management: Strategically partner with system vendors and third-party integrators to extend and optimize system features, providing management oversight to ensure these enhancements align with our business objectives and technology roadmap.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in working with in at least one of the following web frameworks or similar: Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, Golang, or Laravel.
• 1+ years of experience with in working with integration tools (i.e. Zapier, Pipedream, n8n).
• 1+ years of development experience in BPMN software (i.e. Camunda, Joget).
• Advanced experience with database technologies (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Advanced experience with any Linux distribution (i.e. RHEL based, Debian based).
• Experience with system design using cloud technologies (i.e. AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).
• Experience in working with multicultural, multilingual distributed team setting.
• Experience in product development, project management, project planning.
  
  

Bonus Points

• 2+ years of experience with development ERP software (i.e. Odoo, ERPNext).
• Understanding of accounting concepts and standards.
