I am looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading financial services company in Galway to join their Security Platform Team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a brand-new platform from the ground up.

The mission of this team is to enhance security and vulnerability scanning across the organisation’s systems. You’ll bring your expertise to architect and deliver scalable, maintainable, multi-tiered applications — all while embedding security and automation best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Strong software engineering experience with a track record of building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, PyUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate, or Cypress
