Shopify Expert

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a seamless and engaging user experience for our Shopify store while ensuring the website is optimized for speed, performance, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes to align with brand identity and business goals.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to bring designs and functionalities to life on the Shopify platform.
• Implement front-end development best practices, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first approaches.
• Optimize website performance for speed, user experience, and SEO compliance.
• Integrate third-party apps and custom features into the Shopify store to enhance functionality.
• Ensure the website remains up-to-date with the latest web technologies, Shopify features, and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to layout, usability, or performance.
• Implement and manage conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, A/B testing, and analytics tracking.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to Shopify themes and pages, ensuring the website runs smoothly across all devices.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and create custom functionalities.
• Stay informed of Shopify’s latest updates, features, and ecosystem improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
• Experience with Shopify theme development, including modifications to existing themes and creating custom ones.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with Shopify's app ecosystem and the ability to customize app functionalities.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify and web performance optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Shopify Plus.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
