Project Manager for Gaming

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for slot machines, digital casino games, or gaming systems — from concept to market release.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate collaboration between game designers, mathematicians, artists, software engineers, QA, compliance, and marketing.
• Ensure all regulatory and jurisdictional requirements (e.g., GLI, BMM certification) are incorporated into the project planning process.
• Track project status, deliverables, and budgets using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
• Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints; implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate regular sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as needed.
• Ensure timely submission of games for testing, certification, and approval by gaming authorities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, communicating with stakeholders, partners, and executive teams.
• Continuously optimize processes to improve delivery speed, quality, and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Project Management, Game Design, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in the casino gaming industry (land-based, online, or social casino).
• Strong knowledge of casino game development processes, including math models, RNG testing, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with jurisdictions and certifications such as GLI, BMM, Nevada Gaming, or other regulatory bodies.
• Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player behavior in the casino space.
• Experience managing projects involving Real Money Gaming (RMG) platforms or Social Casino titles preferred.
• Certification in PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master preferred.
• Familiarity with game development tools and engines (e.g., Unity, proprietary platforms) preferred.
• Prior experience working with offshore or cross-time-zone development teams preferred.
