Technology Architect, VP

One of our clients in the financial services are looking for a seasoned Technology Architect to drive strategic technology initiatives and lead enterprise-wide transformation efforts. As a Technology Architect, VP you'll work at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution, shaping architecture frameworks and delivering scalable, secure, and forward-looking solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Turn executive strategy into actionable technology plans and solutions.
• Lead architectural assessments and define the path from current to future-state architectures.
• Establish and maintain enterprise standards, frameworks, and reference models.
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to design robust cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Oversee architectural governance and ensure alignment with business and IT objectives.
• Guide decision-making on emerging technologies and infrastructure investments.
• Lead technical discussions and communicate complex solutions to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of progressive IT experience, with a strong focus on enterprise architecture.
• Experience in financial services or banking is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of platforms like Red Hat OpenShift, VMware, and EUC tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Agile practices, and technology governance frameworks.
• Background in building and managing data lakes, modern data warehouses, and high-availability systems.
• Expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS), hybrid environments, and virtualization platforms.
• Strong grasp of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and containerization.
• Solid foundation in network and security architecture, including performance and scalability best practices.
• TOGAF certification is essential.
• Clear and confident communication with the ability to influence at all levels.
