Senior Designer

We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer for our brand Grassroot.

Responsibilities

• Managing design process from conception through to final styling for Grassroot brand.
• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
• Ensuring product is in agreement with sustainability strategy.
• Selecting organic fabrics and trims.
• Creating production sketches for development packages.
• Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.
• Reviewing product for style, comfort and fit during presentation.

Qualifications

• Overall Experience: 6-10 years of experience, with considerable exposure to Retail/ Apparel/ Sustainable space
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any Fashion Designing/ Post Graduate in Fashion
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Should have experience of working with Sustainable brands
• Proficiency in Design software
