IT Project Manager

Role:

• Own the delivery of the Network Technology Foundation project, reporting into the wider transformation program.
• Lead the rollout of the Secure Service Edge (SSE) capabilities, aligned with Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Coordinate interdependencies between SSE, SD-WAN, SD-Access, and Dot1x to ensure sequencing and readiness.
• Work closely with stream coordinators for SD-WAN and SD-Access rollouts to ensure joint delivery is aligned.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and handover to network operations, security, and architecture teams, and take responsibility for tracking prerequisites, rollout readiness, and compliance.
• Ensure alignment with IT process framework, including relevant governance, delivery models and decision checkpoints.
• Oversee the Dot1x rollout as a security baseline to enable identity-aware access across the estate.
• Ensure delivery is consistent with and approved by IT Security guidelines, architectural blueprints, and business expectations.
• Track and manage project plans, resource allocations, milestones, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide regular updates to the program team, steering forums, and senior stakeholders.
• Support supplier coordination and delivery alignment (e.g., Cisco, Skyhigh integrators).
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer into operational teams
  
  

Essential requirements:

At least 8+ years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure or network-related projects

• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams within a program setting
• Direct involvement in network access control, security framework rollouts, or Zero Trust

• Familiarity with rollouts involving operational network teams, especially across multiple sites or regions
  
  

Strong capability to handle:

• Cross-functional team coordination
• Timeline and risk management
• Business-IT alignment and stakeholder communication Solid conceptual understanding of modern network architecture and access control
• Familiar with Zero Trust principles, identity-based access, and software-defined networking
• Able to confidently coordinate planning and delivery with technical leads and architects
