Project Manager

We are recruiting a freelance Project Manager role for a Swedish Customer based in Stockholm, Sweden:

Duration: 6-12 months + chance of extension

Location: Stockholm Hybrid Working

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Job Role:

- Lead governance meetings with the CEO, leadership, and suppliers.

- Manage escalations, ensuring timely identification, communication, and resolution.

- Track critical actions and ensure alignment with project goals.

- Maintain effective communication channels between internal teams and suppliers.

- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to leadership.

- Ensure follow-through and accountability on decisions from escalation meetings.

- Advise senior leadership on improving governance processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s in Business, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

- Experience in project governance, stakeholder management, and executive-level reporting.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

- Comfortable handling high-pressure situations and working directly with C-level leaders.

- Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

- Strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented.

- Skilled communicator with high emotional intelligence.

- Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

- Collaborative leader who can drive cross-functional alignment and accountability.
