Your Role

As Lead Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for end-to-end development and technical maintenance of our SaaS product. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Steering the development of our AI-powered platform.
• Enhancing and evolving our architecture and existing functionalities.
• Designing, programming, and deploying new features.
• Integrating 3rd-party tools and external content databases.
• Coaching the tech team and driving agile process development.
• Engaging with customers to understand their needs, provide technical expertise (including
• RFPs/forms), and support other FP teams.
• Collaborating closely with management, Futurists, Marketing, Sales, and Customer
• Success teams.
• Working onsite at our downtown Helsinki office.

In addition to leading the internal tech team, you will also coordinate development efforts with external vendors and partners when needed.

What We Expect from You

While mastery of all areas is not required, you should have a solid understanding of full-stack development and the following areas:

Technical requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with a proven track record and recommendations in full-stack development.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and AI-based solutions, including REST APIs with Python and Node.js.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (GCP knowledge preferred).
• Knowledge of front-end development principles and experience using React state management frameworks like Redux.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
• Experience working with agile development practices and DevOps.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to identify optimal solutions.

Leadership and Personal qualities

• Excellent team player with strong leadership and teamwork skills, resilience, and great communication abilities.
• Ambitious and result-oriented, with a focus on outcomes.
• Highly organised, with solid follow-up and time management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Fluent English (Finnish skills are a plus).

Additional Skills (nice to have)

• Interest in futures foresight and an understanding of social and business trends.
• Familiarity with NLP, LLMs, and RAG models.
• Some exposure to Drupal, PHP, Java, or Kubernetes.
