Data Scientist


Salary: £50,000 - £57,000

Location: Birmingham – Hybrid working 1-2 days a month on site

About You:

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning).
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience in Python, R, and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Expert-level experience in Power BI for advanced visualisations, ML model interpretation, and KPI tracking.
  • Deep knowledge of feature engineering, model deployment, and MLOps best practices.
  • Experience with big data processing (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud-based data science environments.

Other:

  • Ability to integrate ML workflows into large-scale data pipelines.
  • Strong experience in data pre-processing, feature selection, and statistical modelling.
  • Experience communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
