Scrum Master

We are seeking a certified and experienced Scrum Master to guide and coach agile teams within our banking technology division. This role is key to driving agile maturity and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, secure, and customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
• Guide teams in Agile/Scrum best practices, adapting frameworks to suit project needs within a regulated environment.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, working cross-functionally with technology, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Foster strong collaboration between product owners, developers, QA, and other teams.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and processes.
• Promote continuous improvement and help teams measure and optimize their workflows (e.g., velocity, cycle time).
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and audit requirements in delivery processes.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve agile practices across the organization.
• Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management applications for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, understanding of risk and compliance implications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps).

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile testing practices.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification.
• PMP or additional Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC).
