We are looking for a Mid/Senior Fullstack .NET Developer to join KOIA and our Norwegian fintech client. In this position, about 65% of the tasks will be related to the backend (including 3rd party integrations), ~25% Analysis & Architecture, ~10% Testing.

Project

The application is based on modern technologies and architecture. We have a front-end app written in React and a backend in .NET/ Node.js; the choice for the tech depends on the domain. Everything is hosted on AWS. .NET and AWS, along with the React frontend.

Developers strive to keep libraries up-to-date, avoiding technological debt. Emphasis is placed on code quality and testing, contributing positively to the project. Regular technical and architectural meetings are held, allowing team members to propose solutions and actively participate in discussions. Solutions are not imposed from the top; every suggestion is considered, fostering a collaborative development environment.

Your Qualifications

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer (Preferably, fullstack experience)
• Technical background working with Microsoft .NET technologies with focus on:
• Web APIs and Worker Services
• Multithreading and parallelism
• Entity Framework/Dapper
• Unit testing with mocking
• Excellent development skills in C#
• Development skills in NodeJS (nice to have)
• Good working knowledge of:
• Microservice architecture
• Event-driven architecture
• Domain-driven design (nice to have)
• Git
• The entire CI/CD workflow from development to release
• GitHub
• SQL and noSQL databases (preferably with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• .NET 6 or newer
• AWS
• Driven team member who takes accountability, responsibility and ownership over their work as well as understands how it affects the system and their colleagues
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related studies
• Fluent in English for frequent client communication
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail
• Open mind
• Addiction to acquiring knowledge
• Not afraid to take the initiative to get work done while suggesting change improvements where needed.
