Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our collaborative team who enjoys working end-to-end in an energetic startup where projects move fast, we think on our toes, and then we do it all again the next day - and absolutely love it!

We want our new designer to:

• Come to work each day ready to learn, innovate, and grow.
• Be willing to get their hands dirty, pitch ideas, and make mistakes.
• Ask questions, build relationships, and learn the broker industry inside out.
• Know how to do a project in 3 weeks, but be able to come to a solution in 3 days if that’s what is asked.
• Know when to push the status quo and when to stick to the brief.
• Work end-to-end on multiple projects and timelines effectively, asking for feedback and support along the way as needed.
• Brainstorm, do scrappy research, create user flows, low-fi designs, and deliver pixel-perfect designs and prototypes.
• Work closely with other designers, founders, engineers, PMs.
• Use our Quickli design system and work collaboratively to help improve/optimise it as we grow.

Skills and experience:

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within a startup or complex digital environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking and high-quality UI.
• Ability to quickly iterate and produce diverse design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts and visions.
• Collaborative working style, fostering team communication.
• Skilled in user research and usability testing methodologies.
• Business acumen to align design strategies with company goals and market trends.
• Technical understanding to ensure designs are feasible within the development constraints.
• Deep knowledge of layout, typography, and visual design principles.
• Proficient in Figma (design / prototype / utilising a design system)

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial technology sector
• Experience in creating and interpreting data visualisations, such as graphs and tables.
