Job Title: Product Manager – Digital Marketplace

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of a next-generation digital procurement platform designed to simplify and streamline how reusable platforms are sold to government.

Work location : Canberra /Sydney

About The Role

As Product Manager, you will develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that aligns with broader business objectives while delivering high-value, user-focused outcomes. You will oversee the entire product and services portfolio, prioritize enhancements based on user feedback and market research, and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working within a multidisciplinary agile team, including business SMEs, service designers, and delivery managers. You’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality delivery of scalable digital solutions that meet evolving user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a clear product strategy
• Align product vision with organizational goals and user needs
• Lead the design and delivery of enhancements to Digital Marketplace 2.0
• Manage the full product lifecycle and maintain a product backlog
• Use research and feedback to inform continuous improvement
• Champion product management best practices and frameworks
• Identify new product opportunities through data and market insight
  
  

Essential Criteria

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with both public and private sectors
• Proven ability to translate strategic vision into delivery for agile teams
• User-centered approach to product design and delivery
• Comfortable working at pace and managing risk appropriately
  
  

Desirable Criteria

• Understanding of procurement or contracting processes in a government context
