System Engineer

A leading Technology company is actively recruiting a System Engineer for their Abu Dhabi office.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise hardware systems.
• Implement and manage virtualization platforms.
• Configure and administer backup solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Data Center solutions.
• Assist in Data Center migration, Disaster Recovery initiatives, and BCP.
• Create detailed technical documentation and maintain for audits and compliance.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Relevant certification (VMware Certified Professional, HPE ASE / Dell Certified Systems Engineer, ITIL / Veritas Certified Specialist) is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise hardware systems (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Huawei).
• Must have strong expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, and AHV)
• Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions (Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Backup Exec).
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and basic scripting.
• Experience in Data Center operations and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Experience with containerization technologies is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of database management and integration.
