Description

The India and Emerging marketplace team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs for Amazon’s fast growing marketplaces. Our team is looking for highly motivated individuals to help deliver the next great innovations to reduce the core shopping experience latency for India and Emerging marketplace Customers. This position is based in our Bangalore office.

About The Team

We are known as the International Emerging Stores (IES) Latency team. Our mission is to disproportionately reduce latency for all emerging shoppers – EM5 (IN, AE, SA, BR, MX), EG, AU, SG, TR, bridge the gap with local Image Competitors (ICs) and bridge the gap with Best at Amazon (BAA). While our charter work backwards from the needs of emerging customer, we continue to leverage WW platforms and look to improve overall product with foundational capabilities and improvements that are not only relevant in emerging stores, but also for Amazon WW.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of Apple platform development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Proficiency with Swift or Objective-C, and the iOS development ecosystem
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
