PYTHON BACKEND DEVELOPER

With a strategic global presence and offices across Europe, Asia, and North and South America, they offer scalable and customizable services, including in-flight entertainment, connectivity, and onboard retail.

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join the backend team, which develops multiple services that allow users to interact with the in-flight entertainment platform in innovative ways. These services include entertainment platforms, integration with third-party APIs, data handling, report generation, and more.

As a Software Developer on the backend team, you will play a key role in delivering the next generation of the backend and commerce architecture. You will build reliable and scalable tools using Python and help shape the work of your peers.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Collaborate with the backend and other teams to deliver high-quality client experiences.
• Familiarize yourself with the existing technology stack.
• Contribute to architectural, design, and process discussions involving technological choices for browser-based clients.
• Uphold and identify backend engineering best practices.
• Create, maintain, and optimize backend projects, and help develop a microservices infrastructure.
• Work closely with a wide spectrum of partners, including design, product, and infrastructure teams, to define best practices and optimal solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working on large-scale Python applications (or similar technologies).
• 5+ years of overall software development experience.
• Basic knowledge of scripting on Linux systems (Open Source user).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in implementing new architectures.
• Bonus: Experience with Django or FastAPI.
