DevOps Engineer

About the Opportunity:

Join a well-known international gaming company as a DevOps engineer! With a global presence and a strong footprint in the gaming industry, they are known for delivering innovative, user centered experiences. They are looking for a mid level (2-5 years of experience) DevOps engineer, who is willing to learn and bring his expertise to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts in automating deployment, testing, and infrastructure management processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and increase the speed of software delivery
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Huawei)
• Ensure system stability, security, and scalability through effective monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management
• Optimize workflows and processes for development teams, improving the speed and quality of software delivery
• Perform automated testing and ensure software quality at all stages of the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to solve technical challenges and streamline processes
• Work closely with security teams to maintain compliance with best practices and implement security measures for software and infrastructure 
  

Expectations:

• 2+ years of experience with building and maintaining cloud solutions
• Good programming skills and knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Java etc.)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and SRE principles
• Fundamental knowledge of CI/CD platforms (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, Github Actions)
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux or macOS
• Knowledge of Git and Docker
• Experience with (or willingness to learn) Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform or serverless principles is a big plus
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills, with fluency in the English language (both written and spoken)
