Network Engineer
Our Partner a leading academic institution in Switzerland is searching for an additional Network Engineer to join the existing experienced team of 4. In this role, you’ll help ensure high availability of network services, contribute to architecture and implementation of networking solutions, and provide 3rd level support across VPN, firewalls, and data centres.

In this role, you’ll help ensure high availability of network services, contribute to architecture and implementation of networking solutions, and provide 3rd level support across VPN, firewalls, and data centres.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve enterprise-grade network infrastructure
- Design and implement solutions in LAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewalls
- Support and monitor data center and network services (3rd level)
- Ensure reliable operations and high service availability
- Collaborate across departments and educational sites
- Degree in IT, computer science, or related field
- Several years’ experience in large-scale network environments
- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching, WLAN, VPNs, and firewalls
- Cisco expertise, particularly Nexus 9000 (Must Have)
- Experience with Wi-Fi, Fortinet (nice-to-have), A10/F5 load balancers (nice-to-have),
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred
- C1 German & English
