Overview

As a Video Game Tester specializing in Functional Quality Assurance (FQA), you play a crucial role in ensuring that each game we deliver meets the highest quality standards. Your primary responsibility is to thoroughly test games during various stages of development to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues that may impact gameplay. You will collaborate closely with development teams to provide valuable feedback and recommendations to enhance the overall user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform functional testing on various game titles across multiple platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
• Create, execute, and document test cases based on project specifications and requirements.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using internal bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate testing results and provide constructive feedback.
• Re-test and verify fixes applied by developers to ensure issues have been addressed effectively.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong passion for video games and experience with various gaming platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong observational skills to identify issues.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies and software testing processes is a plus, but not mandatory.
