Responsibilities
- Managing Data Network Devices in the Primary Data Centre.
- Handling Wireless LAN, Wired LAN & Routers assessment, including:Configuration Bandwidth analysis Policy classification for applications Peak hour traffic analysis (based on monitoring system reports) Traffic encryption
- Providing network solutions for brands like:Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Huawei, F5 Load Balancers
- Ability to handle:Network Design & Architecture Traffic Flow Optimization High Availability & Resiliency Design MPLS/VPN/Internet Services QoS Standard / Best Practices Recommendations Layer 3 Routing & Layer 2 Optimization Centralized Configuration Backup Network Monitoring & Performance Testing Recommendations
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Network solutioning & technical support, including Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and design.
- Support for network night migrations.
- Network design & documentation, including maintaining low-level and high-level design documents.
- Project management & technical support for SolarWinds network monitoring system.
- Troubleshooting network-related issues in project phases.
- Expertise in Routing, Switching, and Wireless troubleshooting.
