About the Role

We are looking for a passionate full stack Software Engineer (.NET/Angular) to join our team and play a key role in driving the company's growth by developing innovative web and mobile solutions.

As part of the SFI Application Development team, you will collaborate to bring our Xugo Product Roadmap to life. Xugo (www.xugo.com.au) is a cloud-based web solution leveraging Microsoft Azure, designed and developed from the ground up over recent years using the latest web, mobile, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Have solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Write clear, readable, reusable and testable code, following ticket specifications.
• Diagnose and enhance existing software to effectively correct and improve existing code.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team on diverse projects.
• Promote ‘disciplined agile’ practices within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and technical developments and propose their implementation.
• Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions (implementation and variations), that enhance the client experience.
• Solidify technical expertise across web and mobile platform architecture.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Prioritise work requirements and work towards deadlines.

Skill Set

• Hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET, APIs and services
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Frontend Frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
• .NET Core experience will be well regarded.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure including Azure DevOps.
• Experience using MS SQL Server.
• Understanding of Version Control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of task management tools such as Jira.
• Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking and Dependency Injection frameworks.
• An appropriate attitude for professional growth and long-term involvement in the software industry.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary or technical qualification in IT.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Software Application Developer role.
• 2+ years experience with Angular (similar)
