What You Will Be Doing:

Implement scalable, resilient, and secure systems to ensure high availability and performance of our products and services.
Continuously monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Manage automation tools and frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
Manage incident response efforts, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
Collaborate with development teams, and operations to improve system reliability and performance, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes, and provide mentorship to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Introducing innovative solutions to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

What You Will Bring:

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform or AWS CDK).
Coding skills in one or more languages (Python, Go, or Java) for scripting and automation tasks.
Experience in managing and optimizing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures (TypeScript, Java or Go) to be reliable and scalable.
Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of observability tools for monitoring (e.g., Grafana Stack, New Relic).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
A solid understanding of reliability best practices and experience implementing robust reliability measures across systems.
A proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
