In het kader van deze groei zijn we voor Legal Staffing Experts op zoek naar een Junior Information Security Consultant.

De Vacature

Our client is a young, rapidly growing company that offers legal and compliance services and is part of a renowned ICT group. In a constantly changing regulatory landscape, they manage ESG, data protection, information security, and the legal operations of their clients.

Your Role

• Assist in evaluating clients' existing Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes and recommend improvements.
• Help clients develop and implement effective cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for clients, identifying potential IT risks.
• Assist in ensuring client compliance with various cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NIS2, DORA).
• Prepare reports and documentation for client audits and compliance reviews.
• Work with clients to promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices within their organizations.
• Assist in conducting cybersecurity training sessions for client employees.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest in cybersecurity trends and regulations.
  
  

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant working experience
• Basic knowledge of IT and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA) is beneficial.
• Experience in IT and understanding of processes in an enterprise environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the field of cybersecurity GRC.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage client relationships.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
