Pay Rate: $80 an hour

As an Android Engineer, you’ll help build high-performance mobile features. You’ll work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and review code for Android mobile applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team
• Drive best practices in design, code, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend teams
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions
• Monitor and optimize app performance
• Stay current with tech trends and integrate innovative solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of software development experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong OOP skills in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Java (or similar)
• Deep understanding of Android app development and lifecycle
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with mobile TDD (Espresso, Robolectric, Appium)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

• Built and shipped apps to Google Play Store
• Experience with Android frameworks or SDKs for Identity, Payments, Analytics
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose
• Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI
• Experience with web technologies (Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3)
• Background in agile/Scrum development
