Mid-Senior Java/Scala Software Engineer (Hyarchis)

Wat ga je doen?

Your focus will often be on making changes in Scala application and/or transitioning Scala/Java applications to C# (.NET 8), depending on the roadmap. We’re looking for someone with experience or a willingness to work with code in diverse technologies and who wishes to learn C# (.NET) and use it in the future. In addition, you’ll also create new cloud solutions that empower FinTech clients, such as accountants, to seamlessly onboard data while ensuring security and compliance.

You will be joining a growing team that currently consists of six software and two quality assurance engineers. Our team is primarily based in Kaunas, and we follow a hybrid work model, spending three days a week in the office.

What We’d Expect From You

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in back-end development
• Proficiency in Java and/or Scala
• Experience of SQL and/or NoSQL database development
• Strong communication skills in English
• Experience working with Scrum methodology
• Willingness to work with diverse technologies and legacy code
• Experience with .NET 6 (and later) (would be an advantage)
• Experience with .NET Framework (would be an advantage)
• Experience with message brokers (would be an advantage)
• Experience with Azure cloud (would be an advantage)
• Experience with React (would be an advantage)
