The position

As a Embedded Software Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for contributing to the development of software for railway transportation systems. This role focuses on modernizing traction systems by migrating C and Assembly code to a Linux environment while working with embedded systems, digital logic, and visual programming tools.

• Develop and migrate embedded software, primarily using Embedded C and Assembly in a Linux environment.
• Work on traction systems for trains, ensuring smooth software transitions and performance optimization.
• Utilize PLC systems, Simulink, and Matlab for simulation, modeling, and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded solutions with hardware.
• Maintain and enhance legacy systems while implementing modern software solutions.

What you bring to the position

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Embedded C development.
• Experience with C and Assembly programming.
• Proficiency in Linux-based embedded systems.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PLC systems.
• Enthusiasm for working with older technologies in transportation systems.
• Hands-on experience with Simulink and Matlab
