Aufgaben

Support in planning and administration of an existing IT network environment (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VOIP, VPN) Configuration of the network environment through optimization, error analysis, performance tuning and monitoring (routing, switching) Administration and support of firewalls, as well as regular review and further development of existing security solutions Support and collaboration in IT projects with network relevance, such as the development of new cloud infrastructures Management of external service providers in the area of network & security

Profil

Completed studies in (business) informatics or comparable training as an IT specialist in systems integration with at least 2 years of professional experience Very good knowledge in the conception, implementation, optimization and operation of complex network and security solutions Experience in cloud infrastructures / cloud computing Experience with Juniper, PaloAlto Networks, VMware and Netapp desirable Willingness to travel to a small extent and to be on call Good German and good English skills, both written and spoken Structured, reliable way of working as well as strong sense of responsibility and analytical way of thinking and acting with hands-on mentality
