PROSTAFF Schweiz have newly partnered an independent Software company on the new hire of a Senior Software Engineer (C++).

Big growth plans are due for 2025, it's an exciting time to join the company, with lots of transition and green field projects happening and on the horizon, and there is a huge opportunity for personal and technical growth

You will form a part of a newly formed team on the development of C++ Software for their financial clients that focuses on Transactions/Payments, with Azure projects soon to go live Azure experience is appreciated.

💼 C++ Software Engineer

💰 120-130k Salary with total compensation has the potential to reach 140k

🏠 Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite

📍 HQ in Bern, with offices in Zurich *you will need to attend Bern 1-2 times week.

🗣️ German Speaking, any French is appreciated

Tasks 🧑🏻‍💻👩🏼‍💻

💡 Solution Architecture & Development: Design, build, and implement tailored IT solutions for payment processing, driving innovation and efficiency.

💡 Application Reliability & Security: Ensure the robust, high-availability, and secure operation of critical business applications, maintaining system integrity.

💡 Process Optimization & Innovation: Collaborate with business units to enhance IT-supported processes and evaluate/integrate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., cloud, open banking) to transform the payment platform.

Experience 🧠

🎯 At least 5 years of experience in software development, C++ Software / Applications

🎯 Experience in DevOps for business-critical applications (CI/CD)

🎯 In-depth knowledge of modern IT technologies and software architectures

🎯 Experience with cloud technologies and microservices

🎯 Good understanding of banking processes in the area of ​payment transactions

🎯 German Fluent
