Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Location: London (South of River, 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Troi Search are seeking a Lead level Mobile Engineer (React Native) for a Post Series B, B2C App. Your expertise will drive the evolution of the consumer-facing application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert wireframes and UI designs into high-performance code.
• Develop and optimize user-facing features across iOS and Android platforms.
• Continuously enhance app performance through benchmarking and improvements.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to test and implement new ideas.
• Analyze user behavior and experiment results to drive innovation.

What You’ll Achieve in Your First Year:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the mobile application.
• Increase both the quality and frequency of production deployments.
• Play a key role in scaling and mentoring the engineering team.
• Define and track performance metrics, driving optimization across the stack.
• Represent engineering in strategic planning sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience on consumer-facing applications (required)
• Strong expertise in React Native (required)
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js or Koa.js would be useful
• Passion for building intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead small teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Kotlin, Swift, and AWS are all advantageous..
