QA Engineer (Automation & Manual Testing) – Contract

📍 Location: Canada

⏳ Contract Length: Until June 30, 2025 (Potential Extension)

💰 Rate: Up to CA$80 per hour

About the Role:

Our client, a financial services company is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to support both manual testing and test automation setup. This role requires hands-on experience in test automation tools and the ability to establish an automated testing framework for future scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

✔ Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline QA processes.

✔ Set up and manage an automated testing framework.

✔ Work closely with developers and QA team members to improve test coverage.

✔ Log defects and manage test cases in JIRA or DevOps.

Requirements:

🔹 5+ years of QA experience with a mix of manual and automation testing.

🔹 Experience with automation tools (specific tools to be confirmed).

🔹 Ability to build and maintain automated test scripts from scratch.

🔹 Familiarity with LambdaTest, JIRA, or DevOps.

🔹 Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.

🔹 Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).

Nice to Have:

➕ Experience working in financial services (banking, fintech, credit unions).

➕ Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation integration.
