We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer for a 12-month renewable contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or financial services and expertise in securing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application development lifecycles. This is a fully remote role, requiring collaboration with global teams to enhance security and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security best practices in DevOps environments.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and threat modeling.
- Automate security testing and infrastructure hardening using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure coding and secure deployment methodologies.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring rapid mitigation of threats.
- Ensure compliance with banking and financial regulations such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
- Drive security awareness and best practices across development and IT teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Prior experience in banking or financial institutions is preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in financial services.
