Golang Engineer

A global technology consulting and digital solutions client of ours is looking for a Golang Engineer to join their growing team in the UK. Below are more details of the position –

Ideal Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one backend type-safe programming language (Golang preferred but others considered).
• Experience with microservice architecture and communication protocols, specifically REST and asynchronous messaging services (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience working in a Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of test automation across different testing levels (unit, component, functional, system integration, regression).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Professional experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Postgres, Golang, Git, gRPC, Docker, GraphQL.
• Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and Continuous Testing (CT) using tools like Jenkins, Rally, JIRA.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
